The short version
We are a local plumbing company. We collect your name, phone number, email and ZIP code when you ask us for service or apply for a Water Safety Inspection. We use that information to contact you about your request, schedule your appointment, and follow up.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with anyone except the companies that help us run our business, and only so they can do that work.
If you want your information deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site, apply for a Water Safety Inspection, request service, or book an appointment, we collect:
- your first name, and last name if you give it
- your phone number
- your email address
- your ZIP code
- your service address, once you book an appointment
- anything you choose to tell us about your plumbing problem
Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, we and the services we use may automatically collect:
- your IP address and general location, meaning your city or region, not your street
- your browser and device type
- which pages you visited, and how long you stayed
- the website or advertisement that sent you here
Information from advertising platforms. If you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement and filled out a form inside that app, Meta passes us the information you submitted on that form.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- contact you about the service or inspection you asked for
- schedule, confirm, and remind you about your appointment
- send you the inspection checklist and related information you requested
- answer your questions and provide the work you hire us to do
- send you occasional follow-up about your home's plumbing, if you have agreed to hear from us
- keep records required to run a licensed contracting business
- understand which advertisements and pages actually bring in customers, so we spend our advertising money sensibly
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Text messages
This section matters, so it is written plainly.
When you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, you are agreeing to receive text messages from JC Home Services about your request. That includes messages sent by an automated system.
- What we send: appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, the inspection checklist, follow-up about work we discussed, and occasional helpful information about your home's plumbing.
- How often: message frequency varies depending on your appointment and your request.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. That is between you and your mobile carrier.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to texts to hire us. You can always call us instead.
- How to stop: reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or call us at [JC HOME SERVICES PHONE].
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing. Your phone number is used by us, and by the messaging platform we use to send the message, and nobody else.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to remember your preferences, and to measure whether our advertising is working.
We use the Meta pixel, which tells Facebook and Instagram that someone visited a page or submitted a form. This lets us measure our advertising and show ads to people who have visited our site. It does not tell us who you are personally.
You can turn off cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them. We do honor the opt-out rights described in Section 8.
6. Who we share it with
We share your information only with companies that help us run our business, and only so they can perform that work for us. These include:
- GoHighLevel, which stores our customer records and sends our emails, text messages and appointment reminders
- Meta Platforms, meaning Facebook and Instagram, for advertising measurement
- our website hosting and analytics providers
- our payment processor, if you pay us
- our accountant, insurer, or attorney, where needed
- law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising purposes.
7. How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, insurance and legal reasons. For a licensed contractor that is generally seven years after the last work performed.
If you asked about service but never became a customer, we keep your inquiry for up to two years, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
8. Your rights
Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and residents of some other states have similar rights. We extend the following rights to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live.
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your personal information
- give you a copy of the information you provided, in a portable format
- stop using your information for targeted advertising
- stop contacting you, by any or all methods

We will never charge you or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
9. How we protect it
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our systems. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page.
