1. Agreement
By using this website, booking an appointment, or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who we are
JC Home Services is the trading name of JC Plumbing LLC, a plumbing contractor licensed in the State of Colorado under license number 600566. We serve Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County, and Durango and La Plata County, Colorado.
3. What this website is
This site describes the services we offer and lets you request them. Nothing on this site is a quote, an estimate, a contract, or a promise of a specific price or result. Prices, availability and recommendations depend on your home, and we can only give those after we have looked at the actual work.
We try to keep the site accurate and current. We do not guarantee that every detail is free of errors or always up to date.
4. The Water Safety Inspection
We offer a Water Safety Inspection to qualified local homeowners. Please understand what it is, and what it is not.
What it is. A visual walkthrough of the main water, pipe, boiler, drain and basic plumbing safety points we can reach and see in your home, followed by an honest explanation of what we found.
What it is not:
- It is not a code compliance inspection, a municipal inspection, or a permit inspection.
- It is not a home inspection for the purposes of buying or selling a property.
- It is not a warranty or a guarantee that your plumbing will not fail.
- It is not a guarantee that we will find every problem. We cannot see inside walls, under slabs, or underground without additional equipment and access, and some problems do not show symptoms until they fail.
- It does not include water quality laboratory testing unless we specifically agree to it in writing.
Scope and access. We inspect what is safely accessible on the day. If a component is blocked, buried, energised, unsafe to reach, or requires dismantling, we will tell you rather than guess.
No obligation. The inspection carries no obligation to buy anything. If we recommend work, you are free to decline it, think about it, or get another opinion.
Eligibility. The inspection is offered to homeowners in our service area, subject to availability and to our scheduling capacity. We may decline or reschedule a request.
5. Appointments
- Booking a time through this site is a request. Your appointment is confirmed when we confirm it by text, email or phone.
- Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move an appointment.
- Someone 18 or older must be home and able to give us access, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- We may need to reschedule for weather, emergencies, or a job that runs long. In a mountain community in winter this happens. We will tell you as soon as we know.
6. Estimates, pricing and work performed
- Any estimate we give is based on what we could see and what you told us at the time. If we open something up and find different conditions, we will stop and talk to you before continuing.
- Work we perform is governed by the written agreement, invoice or work order you sign for that job, not by this website. If those documents conflict with this page, those documents control.
- Payment terms, warranties and guarantees on work performed are set out in that paperwork.
7. Emergency service
We offer emergency plumbing service. Response time depends on our current schedule, active emergencies, weather and road conditions. We cannot guarantee a specific response time, and nothing on this site should be read as promising one.
If you have a gas leak, a carbon monoxide alarm, flooding that threatens electrical equipment, or any immediate danger to life or property, call 911 and your utility first.
8. Your responsibilities
When you use this site, you agree to give accurate information, not to use the site unlawfully, and not to attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorised access to it.
9. Our content
The text, images, logo and design on this site belong to JC Plumbing LLC or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. The JC Home Services name and logo are ours.
10. Third-party services
We use third-party services to run this site, including form and scheduling software, and advertising platforms. Their use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy and governed by their own terms.
11. Disclaimer
Except where the law does not allow it, this website is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
This disclaimer applies to the website. It does not limit any warranty we give you in writing on work we actually perform, and it does not limit any right you have under Colorado law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, JC Plumbing LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.
Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Colorado law does not permit us to limit. Our responsibility for work we perform is governed by your written agreement with us and by Colorado law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Archuleta County, Colorado.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
